For my Philharmonics poster, I wanted to make typographic layouts the main focus, with simple visuals and a restricted color palette. The only imagery is an edited statue of the Greek god Cupid, which I chose primarily because of the pose. Cupid appears to be hunched over in deep concentration, the way I imagined the musicians would be playing their instruments. Information was the most important thing to convey on this poster, so I worked to edit the statue in a way that would be eye-catching, but would not overtake the poster.
